Job Purpose

The IT Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive IT solutions that align with our business objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud technologies, network architecture, software development, and datacenter infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully delivering complex IT projects and a passion for staying current with emerging technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable and secure cloud-based solutions using platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Develop and maintain network architecture, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability.
• Collaborate with development teams to create robust software solutions that integrate seamlessly with existing systems.
• Oversee the design and management of datacenter infrastructure, including servers, storage, and virtualization technologies.
• Conduct thorough assessments of current IT environments and identify areas for improvement.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for security, performance, and scalability.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in cloud computing, networking, development, and datacenter technologies.

Requirements

Education :

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field.

Experience :

Minimum previous experience of 7 years in IT Architecture and Networki9ng with a focus on cloud, network, development, and datacenter infrastructure.

Skills / Attributes :

Strong expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.

Proficiency in network design and management, including LAN / WAN, VPN, firewalls, and load balancers.

Experience with software development methodologies and tools, such as Agile, DevOps, and CI / CD.

In-depth knowledge of datacenter technologies, including servers, storage, virtualization, and disaster recovery.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), or VMware Certified Professional (VCP) are a plus.

10% within the US to support needs of our projects.
