Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced MRI Technologist for weekend shifts, focusing on neuro, abdominal, and musculoskeletal imaging with strong oncology case exposure.
Responsibilities
Position involves both inpatient and outpatient MRI imagingTypical patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatric patientsHandles an average of 35–40 MRI cases per daySpecialized in neuro, abdominal, musculoskeletal, and oncology imagingWork schedule is Friday through Sunday, 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 30 PMUses Siemens MRI equipment and PACS for imaging and documentationElectronic Medical Records are documented using EPICDuties include performing advanced MRI imaging protocols for oncology, neuro, and orthopedic casesOnboarding includes strict fingerprinting and credentialing deadlines that must be met prior to the start dateLocals are accepted at the same rate as travelersAt least two professional references are required, with one from a manager, director, or supervisorCandidates must list all requested time off with initial considerationFormer employees may be considered if away for at least 6 months; current employees are not eligible for traveler roles at this locationRequirements
Minimum of 2 years of MRI technologist experience requiredARRT and BLS certifications are requiredOhio State MRI Tech license is required if applicableProficiency in imaging procedures including abdominal, pelvis, chest, brain, face / neck, hip / bony pelvis, knee, shoulder, and spineExperience working in Adult ICU, Adult Outpatient, and Pediatric Acute Care settingsMust be familiar with advanced imaging procedures such as fusion, gradient echo, ADC mapping, MIP, perfusion, spectroscopy, and spin echoExperience using Siemens MRI equipment and PACS is requiredBenefits
