Senior Project Manager (Austin)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex public works, transportation, and water conveyance infrastructure projects . This leader will oversee the planning, design, and delivery of civil engineering projects including highways, traffic improvements, municipal systems, and water infrastructure. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a strong technical background, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven record of successfully managing large, multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the execution of multiple infrastructure projects from planning and design through construction and closeout.
• Oversee the development of project scopes, schedules, and budgets, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Coordinate with municipal agencies, public works departments, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance and smooth project approvals.
• Guide and mentor project teams, including engineers, planners, designers, and support staff.
• Prepare and negotiate contracts, manage subconsultants, and ensure quality assurance throughout all project phases.
• Provide technical leadership on water conveyance, highway, transportation, and municipal engineering projects.
• Manage client relationships, identify new business opportunities, and contribute to proposal development and strategic growth.
• Oversee risk management, resource allocation, and financial reporting for assigned projects.
• Represent the firm at public meetings, technical conferences, and industry events.
