Select & Specify Components Collaborate with vendors to verify technical details and optimize selections. Optimize & Innovate Stay current with industry trends to incorporate the latest technologies. Collaborate Across Teams Support sales with technical expertise and assist customers with troubleshooting, startup, and warranty issues. Assure Quality Partner with the test team to validate and verify designs. Document & Communicate Maintain accurate records of revisions, as-builts, and production markups. Education : Bachelor's in electrical engineering (not required) Experience : Proven track record in electrical design with strong AutoCAD skills. Knowledge of UL standards, NEC codes, and electrical design best practices. Familiarity with 2D / 3D CAD tools; AutoCAD Electrical experience is a plus. Skills : Ability to interpret technical specs and engineering drawings. Strong problem-solving mindset with keen attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Bonus Points : Experience with Revit, Inventor, or similar software. Background in electrical project management.

About the Role
We're looking for a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to bring innovative solutions to our prefabricated control and switchgear building projects. You'll be at the forefront of designing advanced electrical systems—including UL 891 switchboards, UL 1008 transfer switches, UL 414 metering enclosures, UL 508A control panels, and medium-voltage metal-clad switchgear—using Autodesk tools like AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical. Your expertise will help us deliver high-performance products that meet rigorous industry standards and exceed client expectations.
What You'll Do
- Design Electrical Systems
Develop electrical system designs for various projects.
Choose components such as breakers, transformers, and switches that meet project specifications.
Analyze and refine designs to enhance efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
Coordinate with mechanical, structural, and architectural teams for seamless project integration.
Participate in design reviews, prototype testing, and troubleshooting.
Prepare clear design documentation, reports, and project updates.
