Our Client, a large window and door distributor / installter is actively looking for an Installation Support Specialist. The ideal candidate has experience with windows and doors.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Facilitate the Order Verification Process Review project details with sales rep and remodel customers prior to order submittal.
Ensure product compatibility.
Measure openings to verify correct sizes.
Review order for accuracy-handing, hardware, colors, finishes.
Document / photograph exceptional situations of the job.
Conduct pre-installation project reviews with sale and installation team.
Perform pre-installation walk-throughs with client and installer as needed.
Prepare installation documentation.
Order Verification Form.
Scope of Work.
Special needs and circumstances.
Perform quality control walk-through during installation, with installer and client as needed.
Trouble shoot jobsite issues use creativity and experience to collaborate with contractors to most effectively address unexpected issues.
Prepare punch-list items for installation crews to address.
Perform punch-list work as needed.
Assist in sourcing and delivering installation materials as needed to complete projects.
Perform post installation quality control walk-through with client and installer as needed.
Document electronically project status and progress daily.
Act as liaison between company, Installation team, and client.
Complete daily service jobs, as assigned.
When needed, assists with product delivery - load / unload trucks with products.
Inspects and / or installs and repairs windows and doors at job sites.
Generates and updates all install / service-related documentation per project.
Generates and orders service-related products with various manufacturers utilizing supplied quoting systems.
Conducts follow-up service work.
Escalates customer concerns to management and / or manufacture if unable to resolve.
Meets company safety requirements by keeping work area and vehicles neat and clean, following safety precautions and wearing required safety apparel and reporting any safety issues to management.
Strives to achieve the companys customer satisfaction goals.
Provides customers with helpful information on the care, operation, and maintenance of products.
Through training provided, keeps current with product knowledge.
Assists in training new colleagues or installation colleagues as needed.
Performs any other necessary task assigned by the supervisor or company in support of company goals or assistance with customer issues.
