Select Specialty Hospitals focus on caring for patients recovering from critical illness who still require extended medical treatment. The Macon location specializes in helping patients stabilize and return to their baseline health so they can safely transition back home. Responsibilities

Monitor and record vital signs

Administer medications and treatments

Provide care for chronic and complex conditions

Manage and monitor ventilators, drips, and lines

Perform wound care and dressing changes

Document care in EPIC

Patient Ratios

Acuity-based assignments (not traditional fixed ratios)

Patients are scored 15–60 points each; assignments capped at 135 points

RNs should be comfortable with up to 1 : 5 ratios, though assignments flex based on acuity

Requirements

Active RN license (GA or Compact)

Minimum 1 year of RN experience (LTACH, ICU, or Stepdown strongly preferred)

Comfort in high-acuity patient care settings

Contract Details

Length : 8 or 13 weeks

Start Dates : 9 / 22 and 9 / 26

Weekly Pay : $2,734

Hourly Rate : $50 / hr

Schedule : 36 or 48 hours per week (day / evening shifts available)
