Reporting to the Bank Services Supervisor, position incumbent is responsible for assisting with all aspects of the in-house Print Shop, and delivering the highest quality products, services and support to the bank, associations and association customers as efficiently and effectively as possible. Responsibilities include coordinating printing and binding jobs directly with customers; using various design software to create, manipulate or imposition stationery or other printed materials; coordinate the outsourcing of various print jobs, as needed; operating various printing and binding equipment; and maintain records of work requests.
Incumbent must perform multiple tasks across the following areas : product knowledge and expertise, administration, accounting operations, and technical support. Incumbent must be able to work well within a fast-paced team environment, as well as independently. Must coordinate and communicate initiatives between department and bank staff, association customers, and various service vendors. Will adhere to all HIPPA requirements and maintain borrower confidentiality.
Pre-Print Operations
- Assist in the Print Shop by screening incoming jobs in DSF or through Marketing channels. Insure they are properly set up for later print operations. Maintain DSF products, media, templates and Association URL sites . Use Design software such as Printshop Mail to setup mailers, layouts and Impositioning. Ensure job specifications are documented in the sharefolder and / or DSF. Make sure the job is integrated into the production schedule to meet the customer’s delivery expectations. Additionally responsible for providing quotes for in-house services or obtaining print quotes from local printers, and coordinating the outsourcing of jobs consistent with the customer’s expectation in term of quality, price and turnaround time. Perform quality control checks on orders prior to delivery to recipient.
Print Shop Operations
Use appropriate equipment to Print and bind various bank or association jobs. Print Transactional print jobs such as Payroll, Escrow items, rate change notices and Equity jobs. Updating in DSF as needed. Assist with maintaining appropriate levels of various papers, envelopes, toners and other supplies necessary for the printing of materials. Assist in making equipment service calls. Perform Quality control checks on jobs and serve as a special projects team member. Assists in other department areas as workloads dictate upon instructions from supervisor.Post Print Operations
Maintain the Print Reconciliation System after a participating job is complete to assure its up to date. Use the proper reconciliation method for mail jobs needing them. Record as needed and pass job along the job flow.Requirements :
High school graduate, preferably with at least one year of technical training either through a high school vocational program or a technical college program.2 years of comparable work experience.Familiar with operating high-speed copy equipment.Strong attention to detail; takes directions well. Follows policies and procedures.Ability to express thoughts clearly verbally and in writing, keep complete records and interact effectively with other people. Must possess a strong background in customer service.Knowledge of PC-based word processing, spreadsheet, database management software, and various graphic design programs. Familiar with page layout programs such as InDesign.Maintains confidentiality of information that passes through the Print Shop.Ability to safely and comfortably lift up to 25 lbs.Mechanical ability to perform key operator duties on all equipment.Must possess a valid South Carolina driver’s license.
