Position Overview :
The Photoshoot Production Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing all brand photoshoots—from concept to post-production delivery. This role ensures a seamless process for product and campaign photography, coordinating across creative, merchandising, ecommerce, and marketing teams to deliver high-quality, on-brand imagery that drives sales and storytelling.
Key Responsibilities :
Pre-Production (Planning & Coordination)
- Develop detailed shoot schedules, timelines, and call sheets for all product, campaign, and editorial shoots.
- Partner with the Merchandising team to track incoming product samples and ensure readiness for shoots.
- Collaborate with Creative Director and Marketing team to align shoot concepts, mood boards, and creative direction with brand strategy.
- Source and book locations, studios, props, set designers, models, hair & makeup artists, stylists, and other talent / vendors as needed.
- Negotiate rates and contracts with external vendors and maintain relationships with agencies and freelancers.
- Manage pre-shoot logistics including permits, shipping of samples / props, equipment rental, catering, and transportation.
- Maintain a production calendar to prioritize upcoming shoots based on product launch dates.
On-Set Production
Act as on-site lead for all shoots, ensuring schedules are followed and all teams (photographer, stylist, hair / makeup, assistants, models) stay on task.Oversee styling, product prep, and continuity to meet brand standards and ensure all product SKUs are captured correctly.Troubleshoot on-set issues quickly to keep shoots on track.Ensure safety protocols, set etiquette, and brand guidelines are maintained throughout the production.Post-Production & Asset Management
Partner with photographers and retouchers to oversee editing timelines and final asset delivery.Ensure all assets are labeled, organized, and delivered to the Ecommerce, Marketing, and Social Media teams according to deadlines.Conduct quality control on all images to meet brand standards for color accuracy, composition, and consistency.Work with Creative and Ecommerce teams to flag missing shots or reshoot needs.Maintain a central library of photoshoot assets for future use.Budget & Reporting
Manage the photoshoot production budget including vendor payments, invoices, and expense tracking.Forecast budget needs for seasonal campaigns and special projects.Provide weekly production updates to leadership on timelines, deliverables, and potential challenges.Key Skills & Qualifications :
