Hybrid : Reporting to a specific location where work needs to be performed / collaboration should happen (regardless this location is within a hub) and without regard to where a candidate lives (some employees may end up hybrid who live more than 50 miles away but where business needs dictate them to be onsite at a specific location three days per week).

The Advanced UX Designer at GM Design Studios is tasked with designing next-generation user experiences for vehicles. This role involves close collaboration with Vehicle Designers, Software Developers, Program Teams, and Component Designers to ensure the seamless integration of technologies within the vehicle.
The designer’s ultimate goal is to provide a considered, wholistic vehicle experience working in an advanced space. A good candidate has knowledge of human centric design, sensibility to aesthetics, form and brand, and an ability to solve user needs and wants over a wide range of customers. This roll requires harmonious combination of creative skills, and technical know-how. Creative exploration while understanding humanistic design is core to the UX designer in this role.
Job Responsibilities
Collaborate with other designers to create and refine UX concepts for in-vehicle experiences, considering scalability, human-centered design, and brand consistency.
Generate prototype experiences to aid leadership in making informed decisions about future vehicle designs.
Produce high-quality, innovative designs, including concept sketches, drawings, prototypes, and storyboards.
Work professionally with engineers, designers, and suppliers worldwide.
Stay updated on design trends within and outside the automotive industry.
