Privacy Operations Manager (Legal Department)

Role & Purpose

We're seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Privacy Operations Manager to lead and evolve our global data privacy program within the Legal Department. This individual will ensure compliance with privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, and other global / state privacy laws), advise stakeholders on the privacy implications of business initiatives, and embed privacy-by-design across operations.

The ideal candidate will bridge legal expertise with operational execution , ensuring that privacy requirements are practically implemented across the organization rather than just existing on paper. Success in this position requires strong legal knowledge, operational rigor, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to translate complex regulations into practical, scalable solutions.

Core Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve the company's global privacy strategy and compliance programs.
• Monitor evolving privacy and data protection regulations; assess business implications and update compliance frameworks accordingly.
• Manage and respond to data subject requests (DSARs) including access, deletion, and portability in compliance with applicable laws.
• Conduct and oversee privacy impact assessments (PIAs) and risk assessments for new and existing processes, products, and services.
• Develop, implement, and update privacy notices, cookie policies, data subject rights procedures, and consent mechanisms.
• Lead privacy training and awareness programs for employees, ensuring organization-wide understanding of requirements and best practices.
• Conduct ongoing data mapping and inventory.
