Position Summary :
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Mammography Technologist to join our imaging team in Los Angeles, CA. The technologist will perform high-quality mammographic imaging procedures in accordance with MQSA, ACR, ARRT, and state regulations, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform screening and diagnostic mammography exams as ordered by physicians.
- Ensure compliance with MQSA, ACR, ARRT, and California state requirements .
- Properly position patients and operate mammography equipment to obtain optimal images.
- Maintain accurate patient records, documentation, and image quality standards.
- Educate patients about the procedure, answering questions and ensuring comfort.
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers to support diagnostic accuracy.
- Monitor equipment performance, report malfunctions, and assist with quality control testing.
- Follow radiation safety and infection control protocols at all times.
