The primary focus of the Network Engineer III is to provide leadership, planning, design, implementation, maintenance, and support of Essential's network infrastructure. This role will oversee and approve network design and solutions proposed by other staff engineers.
The responsibilities include management of WAN / LAN network design / administration, virtualization, enterprise wireless, cloud architecture, SAN fiber, network load balancers, business continuity / disaster recovery, and performance tuning / monitoring. Technologies supported include Cisco (ISE, Switches, Routers), Palo Alto (Firewalls, Panorama), Nexus, Avaya, Netmotion, and F5.
