Overview

The Life is Good Playmaker Project is seeking an experienced Capital Campaign Director (Contract) to lead a bold, time-bound fundraising initiative that will fuel our organization’s next chapter. You will serve as the point person for all aspects of a discrete capital campaign—from strategy and infrastructure to donor engagement and implementation. This role requires an entrepreneurial spirit. You are not inheriting a well-established major gifts program and donor roster. You are rolling up your sleeves and building it, leveraging the strengths of the Founder, the Executive Director, and the Donor Stewardship Manager to attract new philanthropic investors.

This role is ideal for a senior-level fundraiser or consultant who thrives in campaign environments, is results-driven, and can operate both strategically and tactically. The position is temporary and focused specifically on delivering a successful campaign outcome. Expected time commitment 20-25 hours / week. Desired results : $300K within 6 months, $500K within 9 months, $1M within 1 year. Total : $3M in 3 years.

Ideally based in New England or the New York area, with the ability to travel to Boston 1–2 times per month for in-person meetings and collaboration.
