JOB DESCRIPTION

Develop new business leads with industrial prospects.

Grow aftermarket sales (spare parts for pumps and replacement filters) and company services.

Provide exceptional customer service by promptly resolving delivery, invoicing, quality, and any other issues.

Work closely with Application Engineers & sales on quotes, proposals, applications, and various technical issues.

Be proactive and establish frequent telephone contact with customers and prospects to maintain and cultivate relationships for consistent sales growth.

Learn, utilize and maintain technical equipment selection software; Outlook; MS Office software and others.

Prepare, submit & manage quotations, proposals, orders, technical support information & data.

Create and manage customer database of customer preferences, competitor activity.

Communicate on a timely and effective basis with customers and internal personnel about deliveries, pricing, products, and service issues.

Plan, prepare, and execute targeted advertising campaigns.

Establish an image with customers which results in a very high regard for the company, its service and its people. Perform related work as required.

Work closely with other staff to continue improving / developing promotional tools (such as the product line sheet and Constant contact email campaign).

Take field photos and generate professional marketing graphics and sales tools.

Manage our literature and make sales aware of their availability and recommended use.

Prepare PowerPoint presentations for the sales team.

Help us evaluate what sales and marketing tools are most valuable to FEI along with understanding how the market is changing and how we can proactively respond to grow sales.

Compile FEI applications with notes and pics and create a searchable database of FEI applications and experience.

QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

Trustworthy, honest, dependable, reliable, conscientious, outgoing, and energetic, can-do attitude are a-must. Must be a self-starter and work effectively with little direct supervision. A results-oriented person with mechanical / technical aptitude is required. Degree in Marketing, Industrial Distribution or related Business field preferred. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills; a strong attention for details; and must have excellent computer skills. Must be well organized, handle multiple tasks and consistently meet deadlines. 2 - 5 years of related experience preferred.
