We are searching for a talented Clerical Coordinator

Hours : Per Diem

Shift : Day / Evening shift, 7 : 00am - 7 : 00pm with weekend and holiday rotation

Location : St. Luke's Hospital - New Bedford, MA

Responsibilities

Position Reports to the Emergency Department Team Leader or designee. Perform variety of clerical duties including but not limited to : conduct patient interviews, provide clerical support, patient registration, data / order entry, and transcription of orders, collation of medical records and other clerical duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Equal to completion of four years of high school plus specialized courses and training.
  • Completion and passing of the Medical Terminology course is required.
  • Computer skills including knowledge of the Meditech computer system and related secretarial experience are preferred.
  • A minimum of one year related work experience is required.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired

    • Compensation : Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.

    Pay Range

    USD $17.50 - USD $25.21 / Hr.
