Job Title : Manufacturing Engineering
Location : San Antonio, TX
Duration : 6+ Months of Contract on W2
Responsibilities
- Plan and lead department processes for developing, implementing, and maintaining manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions, and illustrations to define as-built configuration.
- Develop and plan manufacturing concepts and strategies to support business objectives.
- Prepare build analyses and cost estimate reports. Lead integration of complex suppliers, processes, materials, data, and technology to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements.
- Participate in source selection to ensure manufacturing requirements are met. Develop complex tooling requirements based on manufacturing and engineering requirements.
- Manage tooling from initial design to end-of-use disposition. Lead investigation and resolution of complex or systemic manufacturing-related issues. Lead teams performing producibility assessments of design concepts.
- Support enterprise-level benchmarking to incorporate best practices.
- Lead development of complex work statements and sequencing of events to support delivery commitments.
- Develop scheduling templates for use by others.
- Draft, update, and review processes and procedures to support business and regulatory agency requirements. Develop and document new job practices, techniques, and standards.
- Work under minimal direction.
