Manufacturing Planners / Manufacturing Engineer

Overview

Insight Global is seeking Manufacturing Planners to join one of our large aerospace clients in San Antonio, TX. This is a 100% on-site role on a production floor environment, where engineers will be working on aircraft-related activities.

In this role you will collaborate with Liaison Engineering and Mechanic teams when any non-conformance arise. This person will be responsible for taking dispositions from Liaison Engineering and translating it into a build plan to line out step-by-step instructions for Mechanics to follow, while referencing engineering drawings and inspection points.

Base pay range

$60.00 / hr - $65.00 / hr

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements production and tooling methodologies.
• Participates on Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplines.
• Develops, identifies and implements conceptual designs and maintains the program architecture for build.
• Leads and implements manufacturing plans.
• Conducts producibility and variation analyses to ensure that manufacturing process capability matches requirements.
• Assists in providing producibility information for inclusion in project plans and helps document producibility best practices.
• Resolves technical problems of significant impact to performance, cost or schedule.
• Coordinates and implements new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies and concepts.
• Validates and ensures production readiness of solutions to complex problems.
• Implements lean principles and technologies.
