Responsibilities Build & Mature Our Ability to Deliver Our Crisis Care Product Drive the development of a scalable application architecture utilizing engineering best practices around observability and testing Lead the migration strategy from systems to Go services deployed on AWS while ensuring business continuity Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences Create and maintain technical roadmaps that align with organizational goals and user needs Establish engineering standards and best practices across teams to ensure quality, reliability, and maintainability Team Leadership and Growth Build and lead high-performing engineering teams focused on platform infrastructure Foster a culture of technical excellence, continuous learning, and innovation Mentor and develop engineers to grow their technical and leadership capabilities Facilitate career growth for direct reports through regular feedback and development opportunities Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure platform decisions support the broader organization's goals Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience Minimum of 5 years of experience with software development supporting production systems Minimum of 3 years of experience in people management and / or supervision / team leadership role Strong leadership and team management skills with a track record of building and leading high-performing engineering teams Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.Reliable High-Speed Internet Required :
Must have a stable high-speed internet connection to support seamless remote collaboration, virtual meetings, online job tasks, etc.The full salary range for this position, across all United States geographies, is $135,520 to $144,180.The upper portion of the salary range is typically reserved for existing employees who demonstrate strong performance over time.Starting salary will vary by location, qualifications, and prior experience; during the interview process, candidates will learn the starting salary range applicable for their location.We pay competitively in the tech-forward nonprofit space and offer a robust benefits package.Only candidates in the following states will be eligible for employment :
