Salary : $27.80 - $35.15 per Hour. Medical Benefits are paid 100% for employee and 75% for dependent coverage; Cal PERS retirement.

Length of Work Year : 9 months

Length of Work Day : 6.35 hours

Work Hours : Monday - Friday, Daily Hours To Be Dertermined

Qualifications

List experience on application that is relevant to this position. Previous experience working with groups of students; experience interpreting in the classroom and / or for the deaf community.

Materials Required / Requirements

Must pre-qualify by attaching : (Both A & B items)

A . Valid certification provided by the national Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID) or equivalent, or score 4.0 or higher on a state-approved evaluation examination (i.e. EIPA, ESSE-I / R, or NAD / ACCI)

AND

B. One Documentation From The Following List

• A passing score from SJUSD's Proficiency Exam - testing date must be April 2005 to current. No other school districts proficiency exam accepted. Proof of an A.A. degree (or higher)

Valid California Class C driver's license issued by the California Department of Motor Vehicles within 30 days of hire or before driving any vehicle requiring this license.
