STV has immediate openings in any of our major US offices for a Geotechnical & Tunnel Engineer with tunneling / underground structures experience in our Transportation and Infrastructure Division.

Key Responsibilities

• Performing design of tunnels, earth retention systems, rock and soil slopes and deep foundations.
• Design and rock and soil tunnel initial support using numerical and empirical methods.
• Preparing drawings and developing engineering reports.
• Developing and implementing geotechnical subsurface exploration plan.
• Preparing geotechnical data reports, geotechnical interpretive reports, geotechnical baseline reports, and geotechnical design reports.
• Participating in project decisions regarding technical approaches, cost and schedule performance.
• Interpreting geology, geotechnical and hydrologic conditions and understand their impact on design and construction.
• Assisting in preparation of proposals.

Compensation Range

$128,289.89 - $171,053.19
