Qualifications and requirements

Under the supervision of an RN, performs telemetry monitoring. Reports to : Director of Intensive Care Unit

FLSA : Non-exempt

Education : High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred

Licenses : EMT, EMT-P, CNA, SRNA, or CMA. Preferred or completion of first semester clinical rotation in an accredited Nursing Degree Program (ADN or BSN).

Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS) Required; Completion of Cardiac Telemetry Certification within 1 year of hire; Evidence of successful completion of Telemetry / Dysrhythmia course
