Overview
The Havrda Laboratory is seeking a Research / Laboratory Technician to provide technical support and perform experiments investigating the cellular and molecular basis of neurological disorders. The primary activities focus on the use of in vivo and in vitro models of Parkinson's disease to understand the function of innate immune cells in the response to neurotoxic chemicals and pathological protein aggregates.
This is a full-time position with a competitive benefits package, funded through grants and contracts secured by the Principal Investigator (PI). The schedule may occasionally include weekend hours, conference travel, and participation in community outreach events.
