Responsibilities Position is in the Labor and Delivery unit of an acute care hospital Cares for high-risk obstetric patients and a culturally diverse patient population RNs circulate during cesarean sections Night shifts are available (3x12 hours, 18 : 00-06 : 30) Every other weekend is required No on-call responsibilities Floating between like units and all facilities within the state may be required Epic charting system is used and Epic experience is required RNs are expected to float between all facilities in the state if needed First-time travelers are accepted Scrubs may be any solid color, with royal blue or navy commonly worn Free parking is available on the first day, with assignment parking provided during orientation Minimal to no requested time off is allowed; all requests must be included at the time of application Requirements Active CA RN license required Minimum 1 year of recent labor and delivery nursing experience required Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required Must provide at least 2 supervisory references covering one year within the last three years in a comparable specialty Pending licenses not accepted for consideration Former perm staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-626148.
