job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProvide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues. Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns within the location, including technology and media environments. Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members while on patrol. Follow all Allied Universal protocols and client-specific instructions during patrols and incident response. Assist with access control and monitor entry points as required by site procedures. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Must be at least 21 years of age. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a Security Professional - Unarmed Patrol Full-Time in Sterling, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Your visible presence helps to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication to all visitors and staff. What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
