North Carolina Staff Accountant

A company is looking for a Staff Accountant (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and post journal entries to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions

Reconcile balance sheet accounts and intercompany transactions across multiple practices

Support the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process, including financial statement preparation

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

1-3 years of accounting experience; healthcare or multi-entity experience preferred

Working knowledge of GAAP and general accounting principles

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle)

CPA or CPA eligibility preferred but not required
