Job Description

We’re seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer III to lead the design and engineering of facility electrical systems—including power distribution, lighting, grounding, and life safety systems. This is not a controls or automation role . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building electrical infrastructure and be comfortable managing scope, budget, and coordination across disciplines.

You’ll work on small to medium-sized projects, collaborating with architects, engineers, clients, construction managers, subcontractors, vendors, and manufacturers. Your work will directly impact the creation of high-performance spaces in the life sciences and food & beverage sectors.

The successful candidate can be located in St. Louis, MO, or Columbus, OH.

What You’ll Do

• Design and engineer electrical systems including :

Power distribution

Power load, illumination, short circuit, voltage drop

One-line diagrams, basis of design reports, specifications, and construction documents

Conceptual, schematic, design development, construction documentation, and administration

This position is focused on electrical building systems design. Candidates with a background in controls, automation, or instrumentation will not be considered a match for this role.
