Location : Santa Paula & Fillmore, CA (must be available to work at both locations)

Schedule : Full-Time, Monday–Friday, 8 : 30 AM – 5 : 30 PM

Compensation & Benefits

$16.50 / hour (40 hours per week)

Heritage Valley Eye Care is committed to providing quality eye care with compassion and professionalism. We are looking for a motivated Optical Technician to join our team and support our doctors in delivering excellent patient care. We are also open to Optician applicants as well!

Optical Technician Responsibilities

Welcome and greet patients in a friendly and professional manner

Gather and record patient history and answer initial questions

Perform preliminary and automated diagnostic testing prior to and after eye exams

Assist doctors and staff with patient flow and exam preparation

Ensure a clean, organized, and supportive clinical environment

Optical Technician Qualifications

Strong interpersonal skills and a positive, patient-focused attitude

Hard-working, dependable, and eager to learn

No prior certifications required—training will be provided

Reliable transportation and flexibility to work at both Santa Paula and Fillmore locations

Industry experience is a plus, but not required (ideal candidate has some experience but is early in their career and ready to grow)
