job_description.job_card.job_descriptionBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of proven experience in microservices testing and architecture, including functional and non-functional testing. Proficiency in major cloud languages such as Python or Go. Hands-on experience with databases including Redis, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB. Strong background in DevOps practices and tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, GitLab. Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS) and containerized applications. Experience with QA automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Robot, Postman). Experience in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Shell for test automation and infrastructure management. Strong networking knowledge (TCP / IP, DNS, HTTP) and distributed networks. Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana). Understanding of CI / CD pipeline design and best practices. Experience with test management tools (e.g., Jira, Xray Test Management for Jira). Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in distributed systems. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Proactive, motivated and comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and reliability in testing. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Overview
Senior QA Automation Engineer, Microservices (Onsite) at AXON Networks. AXON Networks delivers an AI-driven, analytics-based orchestration platform and high-speed routers that leverage the latest Wi-Fi technologies. We help ISPs manage and troubleshoot networks in real time and enhance customer experience. We are headquartered in Irvine, CA, with Asia HQ in Singapore and operations in Denmark and Vietnam.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and execute functional, integration, and performance testing for microservices in a distributed architecture.
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure to support microservice testing environments.
- Perform database testing (SQL queries, stored procedures, and schema validation) to ensure data integrity and performance.
- Collaborate with the DevOps team to automate deployment and testing of microservices through CI / CD pipelines.
- Leverage tools like Git, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes to optimize infrastructure for microservices testing.
- Collaborate with QA, developers, and DevOps teams worldwide to meet project timelines while maintaining quality.
- Provide comprehensive reports and documentation on testing results, infrastructure performance, and QA metrics.

Compensation
Annual salary range : $100,000 - $150,000
