Overview
The Program Director or Program Manager is responsible for the management and strategic growth of the Wound Care Program for the assigned area of responsibility. This position oversees the Wound Care Center operations, staff management, financial management, quality / performance improvement, and community education. The role maintains collaborative relationships within and outside the hospital organization and builds effective working relationships between Healogics and the hospital.
All Healogics employees must perform their job responsibilities according to Healogics policies, hospital policies, accrediting organizations, federal and state regulation, and CMS guidelines, as applicable.
Essential Functions / Responsibilities
- Manages the Center’s Operations (20%) : oversee day-to-day outpatient clinic operations and wound continuum programs; assess clinic flows and implement improvements; ensure resources, supplies, equipment, and services are available; facilitate information flow and communication; prioritize and direct work of clinical and non-clinical staff; collaborate with providers and Medical Director; manage direct reports with HR.
- Performs Financial Management (10%) : manage revenue cycle for Healogics and hospital partner; stay updated on reimbursement changes; review financial reports and implement best practices; track ancillary revenues and manage costs; coordinate with the Healogics support team for financial reviews and reporting to hospital leadership.
- Manages Community Education / Marketing (40%) : develop and execute strategic marketing plans with hospital and marketing teams; identify target referral sources and build relationships to increase referrals; maintain physician practice lists; visit physician practices to raise program awareness and document interactions in CRM; communicate goals and referral information with hospital executives as needed.
- Manages Quality / Performance Improvement (10%) : implement a continuous Wound Care Center Performance Improvement Program, participate in hospital committees, ensure documentation and outcomes tracking, monitor satisfaction, and uphold patient safety and compliance requirements.
- Manages Relationships (15%) : maintain strong relationships with hospital client, physicians, and staff; align program goals with hospital objectives while ensuring compliance; engage with hospital leadership and participate in management meetings; perform other duties as required.
Qualifications Required Education, Experience And Credentials
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Nursing or related field preferred with 1 year of marketing / community education in healthcare or clinical operations experience; OR Associate’s degree with 2+ years of related experience; OR High School Diploma with 4+ years of related experience. Management experience preferred.Required Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
Knowledge of regulatory / accrediting requirements for healthcare organizations.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication, including group presentation skills.Analytical and quantitative skills; strong customer service and follow-up; excellent organization and time management; leadership and teaching abilities; relationship building and influencing skills; ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.Ability to travel overnight.Physical Demands

The salary for this position generally ranges between $89,250.00 and $120,750.00 annually. This range is an estimate based on qualifications, education, experience, geography, and other considerations permitted by law.
