CNC Lathe Machinist

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC LATHE machines to produce precision parts and components. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret technical drawings.

Duties

• Set up and operate Lathe CNC machines, including lathes with live tooling, to produce parts according to specifications.
• Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to determine machining operations required.
• Utilize CAM programming software to create and modify machining programs as needed.
• Measure and inspect finished products using precision measuring tools such as micrometers and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) for quality assurance.
• Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with team members to implement lean manufacturing practices for improved efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Assist in welding tasks when necessary, contributing to the overall production process.
