Job Description

As a Security Officer - Tech Campus Unarmed Patrol in Las Vegas, NV , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom environment. Your main responsibilities include conducting regular patrols of the premises, maintaining a strong presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and assisting individuals with professionalism and care. You will demonstrate reliable communication and exceptional customer service while upholding our values of agility, teamwork, and integrity. This role allows you to contribute to a people-first culture in an innovative and fast-paced location.

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the location and its personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and provide a visible Allied Universal presence.
  • Document and report security-related incidents or unusual conditions according to established protocols.
  • Collaborate with staff to address security-related concerns, support event operations, and maintain open communication at the location.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and / or reporting suspicious activity as necessary.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
