Grant Accountant
Location : Evergreen Park, IL (On-site, MondayFriday, 9am5pm)

Reports To : Controller or Finance Manager

Grant Accountant Key Responsibilities :
- Grant Expenditure & Reporting : Track and report grant expenses, ensuring accuracy and compliance with funder requirements
- Full-Cycle Accounting : Oversee full-cycle accounting, including general ledger management, journal entries, AP / AR, and month-end close processes
- Compliance & Relationship Management : Ensure compliance with funding regulations and maintain relationships with funders and internal teams
- Auditing & Billing : Oversee audits, manage billing, and prepare financial reports for funders
- Payroll & Expense Processing : Process payroll, reimbursements, and manage reconciliations and expense tracking
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field35+ years of full-cycle accounting and / or grant accounting experienceProficiency in QuickBooks Online (required) and strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP)Experience in the nonprofit sectorExcellent organizational and time-management skills with attention to detailStrong written and verbal communication skillsHow to Apply : Send your resume today!
