The Novant Health Cancer Institute is seeking an Oncology Advanced Practice Provider to join our established, growing classical hematology practice of 14 providers, located in the state-of-the-art Weisinger Cancer in center city Charlotte, NC. Our providers are fully supported with a dedicated, onsite team of experienced nurses, pharmacists, and administrative staff as well as a full-service infusion center. We are looking for a candidate who has experience or a special interest in non-malignant bleeding disorders, especially venous thromboembolism, sickle cell disease, and uncomplicated anemia. Our hematology program includes Adult Hemophilia Treatment Center Designation. We are a robust, innovative practice that continues to grow and continue to expand patient access to cutting edge treatment in cellular therapies and clinical trials. No call required. Experience in classical hematology (non-malignant hematology), bleeding disorders, and / or internal medicine preferred.

Responsibilities

Qualifications
Education : Master's Degree Required. Graduate of an NCCPA accredited physician assistant program required.
Experience : One to three years of experience in Oncology required. Experience in classical hematology (non-malignant hematology), bleeding disorders, and / or internal medicine preferred.
Licensure / Certification / Registration : Current PA license in appropriate state Required. NCCPA Certification and current DEA registry Required. ACLS (if infusion center or cardiac specialty) Required.
Additional Skills Required : Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Ability to work with management team and physicians; demonstrated customer service skills, interpersonal skills and communication skills.
