This position also requires mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting experience, and inspection and communication abilities. Job Duties and Responsibilities
Inspect and Evaluate a tank quickly and accurately.Diagnose and Troubleshoot material, mechanical, and electrical failuresDevelop and coordinate a project work scope, complete with a task and parts listDevelop a project schedule, taking into consideration the tasks involved and the order in which these tasks need to be completedManage a project to a schedule efficiently, having the ability to recover from delays is requiredConduct routine and special inspections, as required.Understand systems, with the ability to trace systems and install and commission complex components (engines, pumps, motors, blowers)Read and interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and other specifications to determine the feasibility and method of repairing or replacing components.Maintain schedule reports, repair logs, and other project documentation Develop and maintain positive, effective working relationships with internal customers and co-workers.Qualifications and Experience
High school diploma, or equivalentVocational training or technical associate degree is preferredA minimum of 3 years in manufacturing and serviceAbility to drive Semi truck is a plusASME certification is A plusAble to perform routine maintenance on equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is neededAble to troubleshoot, determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about itAble to identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutionsPossess solid foundation of mechanical aptitude and abilitySolid welding and assembly skills requiredAble to test tanksPossess knowledge of brakes, airlines and trailer electrical systemsPossess basic hydraulic knowledgeMust be able to work safety and comply with DOT regulations
