Experience leading large-scale IT programs involving multi-site collaboration. Working knowledge of DevSecOps, systems engineering, and systems integration. PMP and / or PMX / CMX Certification highly desired. Control Account Management (CAM) or EVMS experience preferred.
Senior Project Manager WAN Modernization
Location : McKinney, TX (strongly preferred) or Tewksbury, MA Clearance Required : Active DoD Top Secret (TS / SCI preferred) Work Type : Hybrid
Onsite Position Overview : As a Project Manager, you'll be supporting classified projects in domains such as network, cloud, and cybersecurity. You'll be embedded in a secure IT services group delivering modernization efforts across physically separated classified networks. This role is central to a multi-year WAN transformation initiative and requires a seasoned leader who can drive execution, influence stakeholders, and ensure delivery across complex environments.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead WAN modernization efforts including SD-WAN integration and change implementation across ~100 sites nationwide.
- Manage program development and implementation using project planning, team building, and formal / informal presentations to leadership.
- Understand technical architecture and deployment strategies to ensure no critical components are missed.
- Collaborate directly with government services teams and executive stakeholders.
- Monitor cost, schedule, and performance of tasks / projects, including financial forecasting and risk tracking.
- Partner with Finance to ensure alignment with cost models and risk / opportunity tracking.
- Influence product owners and senior leadership to ensure alignment and accountability.
