Overview :

NorthPoint offers a continuum of social and health services that integrates medical, dental, and behavioral health with human services to improve quality of life. Purpose :
The goal of the program is to emphasize positive identity formation and desistance from offending behaviors through a collaborative and strengths-based approaches. The focus is to provide accessible, culturally relevant and trauma response programming to African American youth ages 10-17 living in North Minneapolis, Brooklyn Center, and Brooklyn Park.
General Job Statement :
The Youth Services department is a relational, innovative, and utilizing a transformative approach to hold youth and young adults accountable for their actions which have caused harm to others. The Case Manager collaborates with youth from referral to completion, conducts thorough assessments, intakes interviews, develops individualized goal plans, and coordinates restorative interventions such as mediation, circles, and victim-offender dialogue. This role requires maintaining detailed case documentation, tracking guest progress, and ensuring compliance with the goal plans and all agreements.

Work Environment :
Work is performed in a standard office environment. Work involves regular guest interaction and extensive computer use (6-8 hours daily), requiring hand-eye coordination for standard office equipment.
