Job Title : Automation & Maintenance Team Lead
Location : Littleton, CO
Employment Type : Full-Time, On-Site
Shift : 4th- Thursday-Saturday 05 : 30PM to 06 : 00AM and every other Wednesday
Compensation : $94,000 – $118,000 / year + bonus depending upon experience, generous PTO and benefits package
Overview
As a Shift Leader in Automation, you'll lead a high-performing team in a fast-paced, regulated manufacturing environment. You'll be responsible for driving performance, maintaining quality and compliance standards, and supporting continuous improvement efforts through strong leadership and hands-on technical expertise.
Responsibilities
- Team Leadership
- Lead shift meetings and performance reviews
- Provide technical guidance to production and maintenance teams
- Mentor and develop team members and front-line leaders
- Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve issues and share key updates
- Troubleshoot automated manufacturing systems (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC ladder logic)
- Operational & Quality Excellence
- Drive lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement
- Monitor key process metrics and ensure data accuracy
- Maintain compliance with GMP, GDP, SPC, and regulatory requirements
- Support investigations and implement corrective actions
- Production & Cost Performance
- Align labor and equipment to meet production plans
- Manage downtime, scrap, and performance trends
- Achieve cost, schedule, and customer delivery goals
- Participate in budget planning and resource forecasting
Requirements
5+ years in automated manufacturing environments2+ years in a leadership or supervisory roleSolid understanding of lean manufacturing practicesFamiliarity with GMP / GDP or regulated production environmentsTechnical proficiency in :RF welding, cam automationPLC programming (Allen Bradley or Siemens preferred)Vision systems (Cognex), industrial networkingMechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshootingPreferred / Plus
