PA or NP for Branson Hospitalist team - Nights

During the typical night, the APP will round on the units to check on patients, take calls from the floors for any needs that arise- which includes the ICU with back up from an on-call pulmonologist and eICU. The APP will also assist with new admissions from throughout the night. The Nocturnist and APP are required to attend all rapid responses and code blues that occur throughout the night.

Staffing Model :

• Day shift providers- 4 teams 6a-6p, with one swing provider helping with admissions from 11-9
• 2 Nocturnist- rotating 7 on, 7 off
• 2 day shift APPs - rotating 7 on, 7 off
• 2 night shift APPS - rotating 7 on, 7 off
• Patient volume : The average daily census for the hospitalist is 80, with an average of 8 admissions a night (range of 3 to 15).
