Maintain exceptional performance of all utility equipment by :
- Creating detailed maintenance plans, managing spare parts inventory, analyzing maintenance requests, coordinating with the Maintenance Manager and Maintenance Coordinator, tracking costs, and implementing improvements to maintenance processes.
- Developing and implementing detailed schedules for preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure optimal equipment operation.
- Identifying, sourcing, and procuring the necessary materials, equipment, and labor for planned maintenance tasks.
- Organizing and monitoring spare parts inventory utilizing the Maintenance Coordinator to ensure they are available for both planned and emergency repairs.
- Evaluating maintenance requests with the Maintenance Manager and Maintenance Coordinator, inspecting equipment for issues, and using data to predict potential maintenance needs.
- Acting as a liaison with maintenance staff, production teams, and other stakeholders to coordinate maintenance activities and align them with operational goals.
- Monitoring costs associated with maintenance, tracking progress, and preparing reports on maintenance activities and system performance.
- Continuously looking for ways to improve maintenance workflows, identify root causes of problems, and prevent future issues.
- Direct supervision, development and performance management of facility technicians.
Preferred Background and Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree, CFM or certification in a related technical fieldMinimum of 3 years experience in food manufacturingAt least 3 years of supervisory experience requiredStrong communication, problem-solving, and proficiency with technology, particularly maintenance management softwareProficiency with CMMS and other software solutions to manage activities, inventory, and dataExcellent project management and organizational skills to coordinate complex schedules and manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyNotes :
