Our client, a respected organization in the food production industry, is seeking a skilled Accounts Payable Lead to oversee daily AP operations within their finance team. As an Accounts Payable Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and payments, maintaining strong vendor relationships, and helping with processes and procedures. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, proven experience in AP leadership, and the ability to streamline processes for efficiency and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead the full-cycle accounts payable process, including invoice review, coding, approvals, and vendor payments.

Monitor AP aging, resolve discrepancies, and ensure compliance with company policies and audit requirements.

Provide oversight and mentorship to AP staff, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely processing.

Collaborate with internal teams to resolve invoice and payment issues while improving workflow efficiency.

Assist with month-end close by preparing reconciliations, reports, and supporting documentation.

Requirements :

Proficiency with SAP is a plus!

Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills with a high level of accuracy.

Experience leading or mentoring AP teams is highly desirable.

Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and collaborate across departments.
