The Lockheed Martin Space Human Resources team is looking for a passionate Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to support the Strategic Defense Systems (SDS) Mission Segment, an integral part of the Strategic & Missile Defense (SMD) line of business. This position will be based in Huntsville, Alabama, and will support the SDS Vice President, Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) Program Vice President, Space Based Interceptors (SBI) Programs and the associated Program Management offices. The successful candidate will be a champion of Lockheed Martin's culture and values, consulting with business leaders on strategic initiatives, working with employees and cross-functional groups to solve complex organizational challenges, and be an integral part of the client's leadership team. This will require you to develop a comprehensive understanding of the Programs business strategy, analyze data into actionable insights and develop innovative recommendations to solve short-term and long-term business opportunities and challenges to support and execute the Lockheed Martin Space Human Capital Strategy. In this strategic HRBP role, we are seeking someone with a track record of excellent judgment, strategic thinking, influencing skills, and results orientation. Critical to this role are : the capability to gain the trust and respect of executive leadership and employees while pursuing positive organizational goals and objectives, existing or developing business acumen, and the ability to effectively engage and collaborate with other HR business partners and with the HR Centers of Excellence subject matter experts in delivering HR solutions in the following areas : Strategic Workforce Planning, Organizational Effectiveness, Compensation & Benefits, Performance Management, Employee Relations, Talent Management and Development, Predictive and Actionable HR Metrics. The successful candidate will utilize data driven insights to identify and develop holistic solutions.
