job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProvide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the commercial real estate location. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior. Observe and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual activity encountered during patrols. Work closely with property management and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns as they arise. Maintain detailed and accurate logs and / or reports of daily activities and incidents as required by site procedures. Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and directing visitors as needed. Remain alert and attentive to changing conditions in the environment and respond promptly to any requests for assistance. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
