Seeking a qualified Helium Leak Check SME to provide specialized support in leak detection processes using helium mass spectrometry. The candidate must be experienced in the setup, operation, and interpretation of helium leak detection systems and capable of working in highly regulated and sensitive environments.

Key Responsibilities :

Perform helium leak checks on vacuum systems, glove boxes, and sealed components.

Operate and maintain helium leak detection equipment to ensure accurate and repeatable results.

Troubleshoot system leaks and provide technical recommendations for remediation.

Document all leak check procedures, results, and corrective actions in accordance with site protocols.

Train or mentor junior staff in proper leak testing techniques and safety practices.

Support quality assurance and compliance with applicable standards and procedures.

Qualifications :

5+ years of hands-on experience with helium leak detection systems.

Expertise in vacuum system behavior, leak paths, and gas flow dynamics.

Experience working in DOE, nuclear, or similarly controlled environments is preferred.

Strong documentation and communication skills.
