Disbursement Associate
Responsible for all tasks related to the disbursement of checks, validating client payments, resolving vendor inquiries, gathering audit documentation, and special projects.
Essential Functions :
- Oversee daily payments within SAP
- Review positive pay exceptions daily
- Research vendor inquiries on all systems and respond accordingly
- Transmit positive pay files to our bank daily
- Responsible for researching and reissuing return payments
- Perform month-end metrics
- Maintain Direct Debit File
- Monitor Accounts Payable for various exceptions
- Perform payment approvals within our bank
- Perform other payment related inquiries / duties as needed
- Regular and reliable attendance required
- Ability to work onsite in an office environment with limited remote work alternatives, consistent with applicable law
Education, Skills and Experience Requirements :
High school diploma or equivalent, associate or bachelor's degree preferredOne to two years' finance and accounting experience in a corporate environmentSome college accounting or finance coursework would be helpfulProficient in ExcelPrevious SAP, and bank experience a plusAbility to interact well with other internal departments and external operating unitsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent analytical, problem-solving skills and attention to detailOutstanding organization skills neededBenefits of Joining IPG :
