Bad Brother is looking for a line cook to add to our small tight-knit back of the house team.
The position is five days a week and 35 - 40 hours depending on the week.
$17-$20 an hour based on experience and skill level, we are currently looking for someone to start at garde manger. Historically our line cooks have rotated stations to stay sharp, in time we would like this person to eventually progress to the hot line. We change the menu daily and rarely repeat dishes. Our goal is to execute our menu with fine dining levels of detail while serving our guests in a laid-back neighborhood atmosphere. Our entire restaurant team currently consists of 16 total employees including 4 owners that work every shift. We believe in doing things the right way without taking short cuts. We are looking for like-minded individuals who take pride in their work and clock in everyday with a whatever it takes attitude and a willingness to work with others.
Responsibilities :
Ensure excellent product quality.
Prepare all food iteams to order and in timely fashion.
Communicates with team and management regarding food iteams and orders.
Proper maintenance of all kitchen equiptment.
Minimize waste of product.
Keeping work area and tools properly clean.
Physical Demands :
Must be able to frequently stand, walk, bend, squat, and reach shoulder level.
Must be comfortable working in an environment with exposure to hot temperatures.
Must be able to lift / carry 50 lbs.
