PARKING LOT ATTENDANT BASIC FUNCTION The Parking and Utility Attendant is responsible for the daily management of the parking facilities, along with operating shuttle busses and greeting guests.
The Parking and Utility attendant is often one of the first persons to meet and greet our resort guests and must possess excellent customer service skills.
Maintaining composure under pressure will be key to offering our guests a quality resort experience.
CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Setting up parking lot lanes in the morning, including cones, barriers and signage for ambulance lanes.
Parking cars, greeting guests and answering guest’s questions Managing flow of traffic through parking lots Daily Car counts Work with group bus drivers to park in the most efficient manner Keeping walkways and steps clear of snow and spreading salt / traction aids when appropriate Managing trash in the parking lots, drop-off area and walkways Other duties as assigned by management SUPERVISION RECEIVED Direction is received from the Parking Supervisor QUALIFICATIONS Must be at least 15 years of age or older Be able to lift at least 30 pounds Wear proper footwear and clothing Work in adverse outdoor winter environments for extended periods of time Effectively manage multiple tasks in a fast paced work environment At Ragged Mountain we work as a team, flexing with the business and team needs.
