Junior Electrical Engineer

Job Summary :

Junior level Electrical Engineer. Performs engineering work in the initial planning and design phases of projects. This includes engineering / design for power distribution systems, lighting systems, grounding systems, lightning protection systems, backup power supply systems, instrumentation, controls, and fire detection / alarming. Perform studies and technical activities to arrive at the most cost effective, reliable technical solution. May also support procurement and construction phases or projects with engineering knowledge and experience.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop conceptual design, perform calculations, and perform system studies.
• Develop detailed electrical drawings.
• Ensure conformance to applicable engineering codes and standards as well as company policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with and consult other Engineers and Designers to engineer, lay out, or detail components and systems and to resolve technical and other issues.

What you can expect from APTIM :

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay range for this position is $74,000 - $82,000. Compensation depends on several factors including : experience, education, key skills, geographic location of the position, client requirements, external market competitiveness, and internal equity among other employees within APTIM.
