Review materials incoming for inspections, assessing them against our standards. Advanced knowledge of welding practices and the ability to identify quality welds. Proven experience in quality inspections or similar roles, with first piece inspection expertise. Familiarity or certification with D1.1 standards, with an eagerness to further develop your skills. Proficiency in using diverse inspection instruments, from calipers to CMMs. Capability to interpret blueprints accurately, understanding weld symbols and tolerances fundamental to geometric dimensions. An awareness of quality systems and ISO procedures that guide our operation.

Are you a detailed-oriented professional with a knack for ensuring excellent quality? Our company is looking for someone like you to join us as a Welding Quality Assurance Specialist. You'll play a crucial role in upholding the quality of incoming and outgoing materials, ensuring they align with our company's ISO standards and the unique requirements of our clients.
Your Daily Responsibilities
- Utilize precise measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.) to ensure all products meet stringent quality standards.
- Conduct comprehensive inspections including first piece, in-process, and final checks, particularly focused on welding and fabrication processes.
- Diligently interpret job specifications, blueprints, and drawings to maintain compliance with set standards.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to consistently improve process documentation and work procedures.
- Train team members on potential safety hazards and recommend methods for operational efficiency.
- Spearhead continuous improvements and suggest enhancements to current procedures and policies.
