Overview
TRC has an immediate need to fill the above long-term position in Boston, MA. This position will require working from one of the clients Boston locations approximately three days per week, with the remaining days each week either working from one of several of TRC's offices in the greater Boston area.
This security position will be a trusted member of a team responsible for supporting a government sector client in keeping their various security repair and maintenance systems and protocols effective to keep their security systems fully operational. The ability to work as part of a coordinated team is critical. This is a position with long term growth potential into other areas / domains in physical security for the right individual.
Responsibilities
Manage various maintenance reporting systems (such as ServiceNow and / or VEOCI) to track security system service and repair needs across multiple platforms. Reconcile all ServiceNow tickets to clean up outstanding tickets. Work with vendor to determine status of open tickets and re-open new tickets as appropriate.
Differentiate / classify support tickets and create new service tickets as needed.
Triage maintenance ticket issues to determine who should be notified (i.e., maintenance, contractor warranty items, etc.).
Keep track of system-specific devices to report metrics and assist with schedule / dispatching of such (i.e., call box emergency vs. info requests, or critical vs. noncritical, etc.)
Create and run service (i.e., through ServiceNow) reports for metric reporting and to assist internally for resolutions.
Coordinate across multiple divisions to develop and track various metrics for trend analysis and reporting.
Work with the law enforcement agencies as required.
Author reports, technical memos, and other deliverables
Candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. An inquisitive tendency, as well as the interest in protecting people and facilities from harm are also important qualities.
Qualifications
Understanding of the importance of accurate and reliable security system information to keep client facilities safe and secure.
Some experience with ITSM systems, or similar
One year of college
Self-motivated
Solid technical writing skills
Experience with Physical Security CCTV and Access Control Systems
Familiarity with technology-based maintenance tracking and ticketing systems, or similar
Ability to work both independently as well as collaboratively as part of a larger team to support business objectives.
Work closely with government emergency management, law enforcement and security agencies
Fluent written and verbal English communication skills
Ability to pass detailed background checks (including criminal history) and drug screening.
US Citizen, with current driver's license and ability to travel by air, bus, train, etc.
Proficiency with standard MS Office tools, laptop computers, and / or related tools.
Basic business acumen and the ability to understand and support client relationships.

In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.
Other Compensation : Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
