Position Reports to : Sales & Use Tax Manager

OTO Development is pleased to announce a wonderful opportunity for a Tax Accountant.

What will you be doing most days?

• Calculate and file Sales and Use Tax returns for multiple entities in multiple states
• Track and record payment of Property Taxes for multiple properties in multiple states
• Calculate and file Occupancy Tax returns for operating hotels under the company's management
• Calculate and file other taxes as needed; gross receipts tax, excise tax, business & occupation tax
• Preparation of business license and various other license renewals for multiple locations
• Research tax issues
• Interpret and comply with state and local statutes, regulations, and legislation
• Provide guidance based on research of tax laws and regulations
• Prepare and assist with sales and use tax audits
• Assist with the reconciliation of tax-related general ledger accounts

This is largely a sedentary role; however, you must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time as the job dictates.
